Most of my paintings are inspired by events taking place in everyday life and retell a particular reflection, process, experience or event. Also, most of my inspiration comes from women, both through my personal experiences but also women in general- the foundation on which we stand, that we have built throughout time and the changes that take place in relation to us and our role in society, at home and within.
I try to decompose whatever subject I wish to paint and then put it back together within the frames of my motifs. I always focus on bringing forth the beauty that every phase of growth brings, no matter how difficult some might be. I strive to express positivity, joy and strength, beauty, balance, and harmony, for that is what we all carry within us, what we all need to be reminded of and what we all need to nurture.
